You can add the Bushwackers 2009 production simply titled: "Scenes from a Psychotic Circus".

More details to come, but that's the title.

I can't wait to see the Corps in our region this year.

I'm also looking forward to see Prairie Sound to put a full package show on the field. Music and Movement with Bugles Drums and Color Guard.

"Kansas City:A Suite in Blue" is going to be real entertaining. :smile:

The 2009 show is dedicated to the memory of GCS member George Dismuke.

Texas Suite

"A Sonic Exploration of the Lone Star State"

Movement I

"The Unexplored West"

Music: "Silverado" by Bruce Broughton

Movement II

"Six Flags"

Music: This original composition by Tony Cesario has been written specifically for GCS.

Journey with us through a musical study of the six national flags that have flown over Texas:

Spain

France

Mexico

The Republic of Texas

The Confederate States of America

The United Stated States of America

Movement III

"Black Gold"

Music: "China Grove" by the Doobie Brothers

After the formative years explored in the first two Movements, Texas became an industrial

empire thanks in large to part to OIL.

Movement IV

"Leading the way to the Future"

Music: "From the Earth to the Moon" by Michael Kamen

Music: "Fly Me to the Moon" as performed by Frank Sinatra

Music: "Finale" by Jason Rose

Not sure which ones you are using from that movies but the Maddona ballad "This Used To Be" at the end of the movie is off the hook.I mean the first time I heard it I thought "what a great song for drum corps"

The 2009 Lakeshoremen will present "Days of Future Passed"

The corps held their open house this past weekend, and played through 4 of the 5 pieces. This will, without a doubt, be the best horn book we've had so far.
