Guardguy89
Hi all, so we started rehearsals for Sonnor this last weekend, and after much deliberation on show ideas for the 2009 season, we've decided to make our fans happy and go back to our classical roots... That's right people - you read it here first: Sonnor will be presenting the Music of Mozart - featuring exerpts from his requiem and Symphony no. 40. We're all really hyped about this as we know that people have been begging us to go back to classic - so enjoy! You can catch us at the following regionals in '09: Salem Trumbull South Brunswick WGI World Championships Later, Mike Edited October 14, 2008 by Guardguy89
colorguardboy86
You can catch us at the following regionals in '09:Salem Trumbell South Brunswick WGI World Championships It's actually spelled "Trumbull". As a big fan of the great scholastic programs coming out of CT as of late, that is one of my pet peeves. Anyway - best of luck in 09, Sonnor. I really enjoyed your show last year - it was beautiful! dugg
great news! savvy color guard aficionado's invariably look forward to seeing this talented ensemble and this year will be no exception. described as "a work of passion, violence and grief" and "possessing a grecian lightness and grace" this splendid music by mozart should be a classic fit for this venerable and beloved program. what comes from the heart reaches the heart.
