This is great news. Happy 50th Anniversary, Stan Kenton, how awesome is that. Welcome back to all of the returning staff, and a big huge welcome to all of the new staff. They will all do a tremendous job I am sure. So if you are within driving distance of Kingston, come on out to the First 50th Anniversary rehearsal on the 1st & 2nd of November. APPEARS TO BE A GREAT YEAR SHAPING UP.

Seeing the yellow team back on the field was a definite highlight for 2008.

I'm not too familiar with the team you've assembled, but I can say for certain that you've got a great visual designer!

Have a great 2009!

That brass and percussion team is the team that led Grenadiers to open class finals year after year. Scott and Dave will THROW DOWN!

Adding Rob Summers as Percussion Caption Head, the great work of Jennifer Hartnett-Orser and Rebecca LeBlanc, bringing back some Grenadiers vets to work the sections...looks like a good year guys!

The Grennies are looking ahead to be very pro-active this year. From the standpoint of rehearsal schedule to our summer schedule we look to be more involved in the activity for the upcoming season.

We have assembled a good group of people who care about what we do and how we do it. That is really important here. We have confirmed a camp in Ottawa this year over the winter which will also include a clinic.

We hope to schedule a camp in the Toronto area and that will be forthcoming. Our grand celebration will be in June for our 50th anniversary. It will be declared Grenadier Day in the city of Kingston. We have already started plans and the banquet will be taking place at the Ambassador Convention Center in Kingston. Check www.kingstongrenadiers.com

With Dave Orser writing the brass book, and Jamie Orser instructing it should be a great year for The Grenadiers. These are two great brass men, and I wish you all the best.
