Has any corps ever incorporated any Rutter into a show? I would really like to see someone do Gaelic Blessing, it sounds amazing in brass.

Quite a few...check out CorpsReps.

Conquer II did Gaelic Blessing in 99

Cavies used Rutter to great effect in 89 and 90

Colts in 96

Cavaliers '89, '90, '91

Colts '96

And that's only the Div 1 finalists who've done Rutter. Check out corpsreps.com for more.

Sweet links, there has been a ton of Rutter used, but nothing much lately :(

I would really like to see someone use Paul Lovatt-Cooper's music, who is composer in residence for Black Dyke Mills..

Either Vitae Aeternum or ESPECIALLY the opening lick from Where Eagles Sing..... Both some serious face peeling potential

Yes, many corps have played Rutter music.

I think the Colts played Magnificat in '96.

We played O Clap your hands, All Things Bright and Beautiful, and some of Gloria in '90 in Cavies.

Cavies '89 was 'mostly' Gloria.

Cavies '91 played The Bridegroom

Patriots, Blustars

Cascades played All Things Bright and Beautiful in 2004.

For a second there I thought this thread was about John Ritter. Three's Company would make an awesome show.
