Help! I want to buy a rifle!

Hi All,

I really want to buy a rifle. Although I was in the hornline, I can do drop spins and tosses with a rifle. I decided I want to buy one. Can anyone recommend an online shop and the type of rifle? I want something good, but not too expensive. I also see size selections and I'm not sure what size to get. I'm 6 feet tall - assuming it's height related.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Here are a couple of very well made rifles.

I would recommend a 39" rifle, I am 6'2 and 36" though very very easy to spin look ridiculous on me.

Elite 4 with leather strap - www.fjminc.com

*Very light

*Thinner curved barrel and neck

*Balanced well for good rotational values

or

39" King Rifle - www.designsbyking.com

*weight depends

*thicker more box like barrel and neck

*extremely well balanced

*also extremely durable

I have personally spun both and would reccomend either, both run about 30-40 dollars.

Hope this helps

Most catalogs carry them or you can buy on-line at some companies I use Algy

Reeds and Things sells the Ultimate Rifle - they are the best one. King Rifles are great too and can be ordered from McCormicksnet.com or from Designs by King.

I'd recommend the premier's also. Good rifles, and they'll work on getting a nice balance and weight for you.

Ultimate rifles are back as well, although slightly different in the neck design and the type of paint or painting process used. They are also the least expensive right now (probably trying to build business back up).

Definitely get a strap-- leather is better than webbing.

OH-- and whatever you get TAPE IT BEFORE YOU TOSS IT!
