Fred Windish
Guys, gals - Lupo's location (as described here) is a little misleading. The bar is actually behind the BACK sideline, across the park, and on the other side of busy Hamilton Street. It's on the south side of Hamilton Street across from the Hamilton Family Diner. If you sit high on the concert side you can look over at it, behind the performing corps. Also, crossing Hamilton Street on foot is VERY dangerous. Cars usually travel by at 40 mph, or more. It's a horrible accident waiting to happen. Another tip, parking in the neighborhood (safe) behind Lupo's is usually plentiful, but be careful crossing Hamilton Street on foot! Jeff Ream
actually Fred good point. in 1995, while killing time before warmups at a DCA show, our bass player decided to cross Hamilton at the cross walk to hit the convenience store there. he was smart to use the cross walk. it came in handy when he sued the car that hit him and left us without a bass player 45 minutes before the show. (and made me cram 11 minutes of his notes down my throat in 20 minutes before warmups)
