the stories that poster could share with us would be wonderful. I've a respect and admiration of drum corps past and present.

what also intrigues me are the 3 under 16 :-) btw i can't poll 'cause i did that months ago; i'm somewhere in one of the bell curves

Well I'm 46 now, but I marched my first DCI show in 1975 when I was only 11 1/2 with the crossmen.

So if in '75 we had computers, maybe I would have been a DCPer back then. Who knows.

DREAM!

Roosevelt Stadium, Jersey City, NJ

Maybe not; I'll have to research that.

Our unis were actually white, but the end of that show they were gray. just kidding

Drum Corps News had a satirical story on the Dream from the mid 1970s and might have been 1975. Story was called "Time That Land Forget" and had chief judge chasing the dinosaurs off the field, tornado sucking up some corps members, tumbleweeds going across the field, etc, etc. Idea was The Dream was a great show but Roosevelt Stadium had just gone to Hell over the decades.

PS - Sr portion of 1975 Dream was one of my favorite albums and I actually wore that one out. Now I have the Sr and Jr portion on CD.:worthy:
