Applying it from a tube is way more convenient then DCT, mostly cause I'd put it on in the middle of rehearsal and wouldn't have to mess around with my glove, cause you don't get a lot of time between reps. Usually had to wipe my mouth with my arm so it wouldn't effect my playing, but at least in my head I thought I was protecting my face. As far as after shows, I used liquid vitamin E.
