Hey, they're on their way to sounding like a college show band line...lol but then again i'm notpercussionist, if it weren't for his teaching, they probably wouldn't even have a drumline. All i know is our director turned him down four years ago for one of the blue knights snare techs I just saw santa ana this past weekend out at chaffey high school. They were pretty decent for it being the first show of the year. I can definitely see their line being one of those that you go to watch warm up before they go on. excited to see them at finals time. There used to be legions of them, some of them pretty good, some pretty bad. Most of them were taught by drum and bugle corps folks. Apparently this is a dying tradtion. The last several parades I've seen most of them that still exist (Golden Triangles were a biggie) now have girls dancing to amplified music.
