From my recollection, Scouts placed low at VFW prelims those years, somewhere in the 16-20 range. In the DCI era, Scouts missed finals 4 times: 1972, 2002, 2007, 2009. BAC oboist Posted October 25, 2009 Share Posted October 25, 2009 Yup....and as great as those years were (WAY before my time, btw... ) the years which followed were equally impressive in terms of the corps' survival...Interesting that if BAC makes finals again in 2010, it will catch up to our friends the 27th Lancers in terms of finals appearances.......hmm....the pipes are calling you......
