  1. These captions crack me up! Good job, drillcheck1.
  2. This commentary reminds me of a DCI vignette of the late 80s or early 90s, regarding VK. Nice job, Ray, commending the crowd-pleasing corps!
  3. Fargo Tar! BAC also dug some turf from Manning Bowl for the end of tour.
  4. I have two clip boards and many SCSU maps in my car from the other night. I'll bring them to Lawrence. My high-point of the night was telling Garfield's drum line that they couldn't warm up where they wanted. Small pleasures... Remember I went through the parking garage to check if anyone had left their car lights on? I found one and had Ace announce it. When I left at 11:30, the car was being jump started. None of the people in the car had heard the announcement. Oh, well. We strive to do the best for our customers at BAC.
  5. I try to cover western Mass., but I can ony do so many! Any brass player from drum corps can give an honorable sounding of Taps - I'm an oboist! I use a 3-valve G from Targets. If anyone can get me info on how to return the horn to the proper hands, please do so.
  6. As there is no year mentioned in the question, I will add BAC '90 and BD '93. Oops ... just noticed that the question did ask about this year.
  7. I am so happy to see a 3rd New England drum corps pounding on the Top 25 door!
  8. Little Rock, AR - 1991 - the biggest cockroach any of us had seen. We named it Waldo.
  9. BAC 1991 - For early season, local shows we drove or rode a school bus. Once we were on tour (7/20, I believe), coach.
  10. BAC comes out with 3rd highest "first score of the season," behind Garfield and PR. I'd be content if BAC is #3 on "last score of the season!"
  11. It was great to have BD at the BAC home show last year. Both corps sizzled last year - like bacon!
  12. Love to be there, but can't. See you in Lawrence!
