JoeSop1
CGPers, It's my first time posting on this Discussion board; I'm Joey...HI! I put this song on my first record and have been told it would make a fantastic winter guard tune. I have a lot of emotion wrapped around this tune. It's about defying all odds, making the choice and commitment to do so on your own terms. I think it speaks volumes to the dichotomy of issues we face in todays society. It's about inspiration, passion and empowerment. I'd love to get your creative feedback! It is the first song on my myspace player (at the link below). ATXguard
It's one most of us would have a lot of trouble getting rights to, since it's from Wicked. Nice advertising, though.
JoeSop1
I had some difficulty as well. Thankfully the stars aligned and I now have a relationship with Stephen's office. More than an advertisement, I wanted to get feedback on the song itself from the minds in this circle. Does it have potential to be choreographed? It would obviously be great exposure to have it play alongside a wonderful Winter Guard, I love creative music in motion! Much Love, Joey
Guardboy345
Wow Wow WOW! I could totally see that as a guard show because it would not have to be a wicked theme show. I Love it but #### copy rights :( Also your a amazing player :) Edited August 16, 2010 by Guardboy345
Guard Diva
Love it Joey......but realize not ALL circuits require copyright permission..... by putting it out there, your work may very easily be used without your permission.
