Ron H
Just wanted to say congratulations to Minnesota Brass on winning the horn caption in Prelims! I think this is the first time a non-NE corps takes it. (Though correct me if I'm wrong!) And congratulations are also in order for taking the high Field Percussion caption! Todd Tanji
The greatest honor is to win high brass with so many other great lines out there. I felt the field was as strong as ever in 2010. To even be considered to be in the same league as the Bucs, Empire, Hurcs, Cabs, etc. is itself an achievement. Winning high brass is the just cherry on top. This Guy
didnt Bucs and Empire win high brass as well? Yes and no. It was a 3 way tie between Bucs, MBI, and Empire on Sunday, but as the caption system works in Open Class, the horn scores were averaged between Prelims and Finals, and MBI had the best horn score in Prelims.
