bluecoats88
listened to BD, Cavies, bluecoats, and half of Crown so far. BD sounded great and I enjoyed the music more then I did live mix of electronics in the opener of cavies show was way to high cause it was drowning out the rest of the corps. This show needs the visual to go with it cause live I thought the show was amazing, but just the music alone is meh. Bluecoats sounded great and the music really holds up on its own. first part of crown sounded really good.
SynthLine09
They sound great. I can't tell if the audio quality is far superior to last years or the quality of sound from the corps is! Probably a little of both all around. The corps have more experience designing for the space and the engineers have a better idea of what it takes to record in such a room. bawker
They sound great. . . .I don't know if I'd go that far. Considering the venue, it's not that bad. . .but it still handicaps a lot of shows audio-wise, IMO.
SynthLine09
. . .I don't know if I'd go that far. Considering the venue, it's not that bad. . .but it still handicaps a lot of shows audio-wise, IMO. The number one factor affecting a recording is the original sound source, the number 2 factor is the acoustic space, and 3rd is the gear and placement of the gear. Given the acoustic space, I think the audio captured is pretty pristine. But to each his own!
bluecoats88
listened to the rest of disc 1 and have to say I enjoyed it all and other than the blend of the electronic stuff in the cavies opener I found the sound to be quite good across the board through those 6 corps. jameseuph
I also got two copies. I didn't order two and I did not get billed for two. Odd.
Afort1
I also got two copies. I didn't order two and I did not get billed for two. Odd. Well...now the only logical thing to do is send me your extra copies?
