TomPeashey
I feel compelled to point out that in an amazing clash of coincidence... Brian Gionta - former all star and Lord Stanley Cup winner with some hockey club in New Jersey that has a Devilish name... who makes his home in ROCHESTER, NEW YORK (both my brother and my son in law work for his father and grandfather at Rochester Colonial)... has been named CAPTAIN of some obscure hockey club in Montreal called - what was that name? - oh yeah... THE CANADIANS... an honor that is MOST rare for an American... an even more interesting coincidence is that Brian's younger brother Steve has just been called up by the NJ team and will be playing against his brother. I find the coincidence of the NJ - Montreal - Rochester triangle most intriguing... is there a drum corps connection? Good move Cabs... good luck with it... Montreal has always equaled "Great Drum Corps" no matter which corps it was.

sixtysomething
WOW....very impressive Marianne!!!! I wish I could be there!!! (You need an ambassador???) Frank, (ambassador?) I fear you couldn't handle the Canadian beer drinking requirements. And if you played the "call to the bulls", you'd only get a bunch of angry moose (mooses? meese?) The Habs have had a long and storied string of captains, but only a couple of non-French Canadians. I hope the Cabs had a successful event. Its a pretty straight run down I-87 from the Montreal area to Jersey.

Well the young man was born and raised in Rochester, but I'm not sure the "family" would appreciate it... is Sicily anywhere near Montreal? I have a picture of him holding my grandson and then a picture of my grandson inside the Stanley Cup...

But I have a question - When you said "Thanks Guys", did mean guys pronounced like "gize", or like "geeze" - Cos it's like capitalized, you know, so I pictured a room ful of guys called Guy .
