RocketRay
Actually, I'm from southern California. But I marched soprano for the Sacramento Freelancers from 1982 through 1984. Play ball!
scottgordon
1984 - my favorite Freelancers show and one of my favorites ever!
84BDsop
Ooooo...I marched against you in 84.
RocketRay
Thanks! We shoulda moved up that year. IMHO the powers that be didn't want three California corps in the top 6 or 7. :P The '84 Concord show, I didn't like it until I saw it at Finals. It was like a light turned on and then I understood it. Remember the frat houses across from the stadium?

Not really...losing by 1/10th kinda makes you ignore that and wallow in your own pain. I'd rather get slammed than lose by that close (I can't imagine how the 08 members feel). No, I was the geek with glasses on the Chinese cymbal tree :( Sorry.. That was Jeff Bonenfant who they shot up through the tom toms. He's now a freelance drummer in Orlando if I'm not mistaken.
