FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Windsor Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps to Compete in DCA in 2011

West Windsor, NJ April 6, 2011

http://www.windsor-regiment.org

Xtreme Drum Corps, Inc. is pleased to announce that Windsor Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps has passed the DCA evaluation and will compete in Drum Corps Associates in 2011! Evaluations are mandatory for all new or returning corps to ensure that they meet the standards that DCA expects. Having passed, Windsor Regiment is now able to compete in DCA sanctioned contests, including the DCA World Championship in Rochester, NY.

This is a major milestone for the organization, capping a successful winter campaign. Since November the corps has been able to secure a superb rehearsal facility, top-quality brass and percussion equipment, a trailer, uniforms, and other items essential to the success of a drum corps. The membership of the corps has grown every month, and work on the 2011 program "Tango Nuevo" has been furious and productive. Excitement is high as Windsor Regiment hits the field for the spring/summer season on May 7th and 8th to learn drill and continue work on this challenging and extremely entertaining program. Directions and information can be found at www.windsor-regiment.org.

There are still a few spots available for experienced marchers in all sections, however the corps is filling up fast. If you are interested in any information about Windsor Regiment or our open spots, please fill out our form today. While the name might be new, we have many experienced drum corps veterans on our staff and in our membership. This is a unique opportunity to build something different with a great group of people that should not be passed up.

Again, our next rehearsal is May 7th and 8th. Stay tuned for the release of our summer schedule and media from our last rehearsal by following us on the web, on Facebook and on Twitter.

Great News!

Will they be in contact with the sponsors of the shows in:

Wildwood - Wayne -Toms River and Seacaucus,

ALL in NEW JERSY. Heck you would not even need a BUS for half of them. Maybe a couple of Vans and an Equipment truck. Easy on a buget shows.

Keep up, the UP dates!

You being in the Center of those 4 locations.

I sure hope they will give you a shot at a spot. It seems it would be good for Both the "Corps" and the "Shows" to have someone from so near bye

Step one was passing evaluation so we could compete in DCA. Step 2 is actually competing in DCA. Eval was just this past Sunday, so now it's time to solidify the summer schedule. It'll be announced here when it's ready. I'm sure plenty of people in NJ and other states will get a chance to see NJ's newest competing drum corps (us!) perform our 2011 production "Tango Nuevo" featuring the music of Argentinean composer Astor Piazzolla.
