BoyWonder1911 Posted July 26, 2011 Share Posted July 26, 2011 Just saw The Academy for the first time this year. Was surprised by the new look, but it grew on me quickly. They look very professional out there. Show was good - seems like a very tough theme to pull off, and they did a pretty good job of that. Guard uniforms at the end were a little flamboyant, but hey, the show was solid, they sounded good most of the time, am impressed for a another year in a row by this corps. Really wish this group will make that jump to Finals one of these years, but I don't think it will happen this year either. Spirit and Troopers are just a little bit better than these guys at this point, but hey, they all got great shows. Temperature is starting to cool off a little.
