Galen
Seems to be a slight systems glitch going on at HQ, scoresheets are uploading but not displaying, so scores will be entered manually in the next few minutes.
Galen
And here are the results of last night's competition: On the World class side, FANFARE fans will certainly be in a happier mood after their corps secured 4 of the top 6 spots, but a pair of CLASS corps continue to hold on to the top spot. In Open and Class A competition, the dreaded Prelims Curse is definitely still alive and well, as both of last night's top-scoring corps nearly tumbled out of advancing to the next round. They'll have to work extra hard to recapture the magic in time for finals. hostrauser
The Stud Bolts jumped from 20th to 1st in World? This season is totally whack-a-loon.

Galen
Results from tonight are up. Congrats to our new Open Class champions, The Screws, and to Cross on their 3rd Class A championship. Both corps won a hard-fought victory over an FC United corps, and each corps won by a very narrow margin of 0.05 points. In World Class competition, The Elite Brigade reminded the rest of the field how strong they were this season with a commanding half-point victory over the rest of the field. The fight for a coveted position in finals was one of the toughest ever seen in DCPI, as 2nd and 11th place were separated by a scant 0.6 point margin. Last season's champs The Stud Bolts finished 8th in that scrum, while the California Knights rounded out the group of 12 corps advancing to Saturday night's finals. Both FANFARE and CLASS have a healthy representation of corps in finals, with organization stalwarts Polaris Regiment, Star of Jupiter, the Stud Bolts, Elite Brigade and Quiksilver stepping FANFARE and The Knights, Nastalgia Vanguard and California Knights carrying the CLASS standard. Finals this season will also feature 4 former DCPI champions trying to grab that brass ring once again. Meanwhile, two relatively unknown corps, Quilt and Purple Mountain Majesty, turned in exceptional performances tonight to earn their rightful place among the elite of DCPI. Welcome to the party, guys! Since this is a live season, there will regrettably be no live finale via chatstream as we have done in the past. Look for that to return next season, possibly on the DCPI Facebook page. Congrats again to our Open Class and Class A champs, and good night from Madison! ftwdrummer
Well, that certainly wasn't what I expected. That said...this was a fulfilling season for the Texas Zephyrs. We would have liked to place higher, rather than collect our third sixth place finish in five tries, but it could have gone much, much worse for us. Design concepts for this winter/spring season are already on the table being discussed. We'll see where they go from there, and probably have a package ready by November. Hopefully we can return to the medals soon. Congratulations to The Screws!
ccollins792
Woohoo. This Rach's. It's been xtraordinary. Congrats to everyone for a crazy year. One more chapter to be written tonight. Good Luck all btw, "The Stud Bolts and California Knights carrying the CLASS standard." We are a Fanfare corp.
