jwillis35
I disagree with those that think SCV's design was good. To me, they are far down the ladder. I thought it was bad design, programming, and horrible musical arrangements. The marchers were better than the designers. Top designs were Cadets, Cavaliers, Boston, Phantom, Blue Knights, Crown, and even the Blue Devils, who I loved.

behold888
boston Boston! Yeah! It maybe could have used some tweaks, but I did find myself asking why it wasn't placing higher.
fsubone
SCV- as much as people try and say it wasn't good, it was a great design. The show was just way over the kid's heads, but you have to applaud them for trying. Taking a concept like escaping hell and redemption, and putting it on the drum corps field was a great idea, and they really showed off how good the original music is. The Ligeti was a great piece, and The Eternal Knot might have been the best ballad on the field in the last few years. I hope to see much more from them in the next few years, more of these amazing designs, always being the forefront in terms of shows.
