After the first show, the rookies get a blue shoelace to represent that we bleed bloo together now. At the end of the season, everyone puts a link from the helmets on the shoelace with a silver penny made that year. If a kid from another country is marching that year, they'll take their currency version of a penny and have a hole drilled in that to put on the same link as the silver penny. Corps song is "Autumn Leaves" You forgot that if it is a members 5th year in the corps they also get a silver plated nickel to put on their link with their silver plated penny.
