JeffUsnaDB
The stadium is, in fact, surrounded by residential areas. The City of Annapolis did push back the noise ordinance to coincide with the end of the show, but they were not going to move it back further to accommodate parking lot concerts. Jeff Any word on the encores by the two champions?
LegalEagle50
Not just in Rochester, either. It happened the last year DCA was in Scranton, and it angered a lot of people that stayed to watch the two encores. While I understand that these parking lot "blows" are fun for the performers, they are accurately named. They generally sound like complete crap, and sure, they are loud, but they do not reflect positively on most corps when they do them. Good riddance to an overrated "tradition". (I eagerly await the repeated mashing of the red negative button) I was shocked to see that as of now my comment is at a stable 0. You're 2 up. Sometimes people actually see the logic, sometimes they don't.
