sophillycab
Yes, it’s been a long cold and stormy Fall, Winter & Spring and it’s time to warm up...at the Jersey Shore. For the last 10 years, The Hawthorne Caballeros Cab's at the Beach has kicked off the DCA season in Wildwood, NJ. Don't miss it this year! On June 15th the gates open at 5:00 pm at historic Maxwell Field and the show starts at 6:30 pm. All the seats are "In Your Face" Drum Corps Seats and they sell out fast. Seating is limited and more details on how and where to purchase them are below. We are very lucky that Wildwood is open for business and was spared most of the wrath of Sandy. Wildwood is ready for Fun, Sun and Drum Corps! We hope to see you there, and when you are done with the show, spend sometime on the beach, on the boardwalk, in the restaurants and stores. Let's show the Jersey Shore how much we love it! 10th Annual Cabs At the Beach! I miss that place. Terrific neighborhood restaurant. The linguine with red clam sauce there was unbelievable.
Fran Haring
Down the road in Cape May, there is the famed Lobster House. And on the Washington Street pedestrian mall in town, the Cape May Fish Market. Their "Jersey Shore lobster roll" is excellent. Chunks of lobster on a grilled roll... but no mayonnaise-based dressing like the New England variety. This one is served with melted butter. grenadasmoothie
Well, if we're extending our recommendations to Cape May, maybe I'll see some DCP folks at the Rusty Nail! Arctic cold Yuengling drafts, chairs in the sand, and usually some live beach music Edited June 1, 2013 by grenadasmoothie
