Returned home to Florida today, looks like our frist storm of the year is about to make land fall this week.Spent the last 5 weeks on Long Island helping out family getting ready to move my sister Carol down to the Leesburg area.Wanted to catch Sunrisers rehersal while up there, but weekends where not open for me.Spoke with Dave director of Sun at sundays parade in Manhatten. He told me they finished drill on saturday with a few complete run-throughts.The corps sure looked good in sundays parade .I understand they are adding a few more brass players ,to round out the horn line.Wished him and the Sunriser corps a great season, they should surpise a few corps this year.GO SUN

According to the June issue of Drum Corps World, Sunrisers are moving up to Open Class. So, Class A should be (let me know if I forgot any):

Last Years Competitors

Govenaires

Windsor Regiment

White Sabres

Cincinnati Tradition

Shenandoah Sound

Excelsior

New or Returning

Centurions

Heartliner

Lakeshoremen

Sun Devils

Tampa Bay Thunder

SoCal Dream (not attending finals)

So should be at least 11 Class A Corps at finals :thumbup:/>/>
