BlooFan Posted June 24, 2013 Share Posted June 24, 2013 I know there have been ties for champions in the past and even in lower places (such as 5th place in 2002), but I'm curious as to what happens if two corps tie for 12th in the Semifinals. fsubone Posted June 24, 2013 Share Posted June 24, 2013 Yes, I believe it happened in 1977 that there were 13 corps in Finals. It's probably the most rare of ties. I also remember in 2005 where Mandarins and Cascades tied in both Quarterfinals and Semifinals, so there was a bonus corps in Semis as well. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
