Now seems to be a great time to start the classic 'Finals Predictions thread' Plus I think it would be nice to stir up some conversation in this section of the forums. N.E. Brigand Posted July 21, 2013 Share Posted July 21, 2013 Will Taipei Yuehfu be judged on the same sheets as the North American corps? In 2005, they placed tenth in the Div. II/III combined Finals. Otherwise, the only group you missed is Racine Scouts, whose website does indicate they're planning to attend the Championships in both Michigan City and Indianapolis. Adjusting only to account for corps who are (or are not) participating, this is what I guessed: 1. Vanguard Cadets (21) <Cascades (22)> 2. Spartans (24) 3. Blue Devils B (23) <Pioneer (25)> 4. Genesis (26) 5. Legends (28) 6. Gold (27) 7. Raiders (29) 8. Music City (30) 9. 7th Regiment (31) 10. Taipei Yuehfu (32) 11. Les Stentors (33) 12. Blue Saints (34) - - - - - - - - - - 13. However, I would give more Open Class corps the edge. Here are my thoughts up to positions 8(30). 1. Blue Devils B (20) <Jersey Surf (21)> 2. While I wasn't particularly engaged by their show last year, which is, after all, when I made my predictions, that didn't really factor into my guess that they would drop four places.
