Bristol Fireworks! Maybe?

Recommended Posts

The most recent weather report from NECN, a New England Cable news station that have coverage of all of New England's forecast, holds out the possibility of storms exiting Rhode Island late afternoon. This show is always great. The slate of corps is enjoyable, the show is held at a high school and it has a hometown feel in the town that invented July 4th celebrations (oldest continuous parade), and even though it's unplanned, you can usually see local fireworks being shot over Naragansett Bay. It's a perfect way to spend July 4th Eve. Yes, the traffic is horrendous with one road in, one road out and the road in heads to Newport, a huge destination, and if you're travelling from Massachusetts, you'll probably hit some of the traffic headed to Cape Cod. I find it all worth it.

Now of the promised rain does clear and if Tropical Storm Arthur that will be Hurricane Arthur is not as much of a threat and the show goes on, what will happen?

The corps will compete, have a snack, get the scores, and head off into the night.
