Bill_VA
I think some of these corps come "alive" when it becomes dark!
chealion313
If they could ever find a solution to that guard, that corps would be top three every year. Edited September 1, 2014 by chealion313
Kamarag
The fact that almost every corps tonight has stepped it up far more than is normal between prelims and finals is an indicator that DCA should never do the 'prelims in the middle of the day' thing ever again. The wife said conditions were pretty miserable yesterday, and the turf was so hot feet were getting burned. Let's get back to the late afternoon start time, ok?
Kamarag
If they could ever find a solution to that guard, that corp would be top three every year. That guard is *remarkably* better this year than the first two. They should be commended. They need to continue to improve, while improving the brass fundamentals program. And not coming out with ten brass holes. If they do that... Edited September 1, 2014 by Kamarag
drsedlak
Nice way to end the year C2! Moving and playing better than I saw earlier. Standing still sound always a powerhouse!
kevingamin
Next on the field is Atlanta CV from Atlanta, Georgia. Their 2014 program is entitled "Hex" and consists of: Theme from Van Helsing Come Little Children Far From Heaven The Chronicles of Riddick

Let's get back to the late afternoon start time, ok?We did have the unique situation of having the parade on Friday night, moving I&E and Mini Corps to Saturday night after prelims. It should be back to normal next year.
Bill_VA
The recorded music seems overly loud and distorted! Anyone else hear that?
kenweaver
How about when prelims and finals were on the same day?
kevingamin
Great effect. The corps sways side to side, including the drum majors, in time with the music playing over the speakers and in time with the voodoo queen in the middle as if she was controlling them.
