Avon Lake and St. Paul are on the books in the first of two big split nights for Open Class. BDB, Music City, and Blue Saints all drop slightly while everyone else rises. With the top two corps carrying every subcaption (except for BDB taking second in Guard Content), it appears only they will duel for gold and silver. The five corps hunting for bronze may have narrowed to three, but it's difficult to tell with 7th Regiment facing no one in their apparent peer group. Gold is back in the mix, but I think they'll be hard pressed to climb from eighth. Do it all over again tomorrow!
