Are Corps rivalries worse for non marchers than marchers?

Recommended Posts

Also, keep in mind WGI. A lot of the guard and percussion kids march together in WGI groups and then in different corps during the summer. So they are friends outside of DCI. They were in high school bands, college bands, BOA Honor band, Macy's band, Rose Bowl Honor band, Army All American band, WGI, and DCI. Lots of mixing and then you see them hanging out after the shows in the parking lots and they don't even care about the scores. They know they all can't march together all the time and they are happy to cheer each other on. If you ever go to a show, after it's over, go out into the lot and you will see major mingling going on. It's a great thing to see and puts it all into perspective!
