Oh, boy. The volume level from the field is about to go up big time.

Seriously, do we not have a spare mic? Did we not test it before the show?Announcer may be moving up to the box so he can use a mic that works.

It was terrible during the football season too.

Next on the field is Music City from Nashville, Tennessee. Their 2015 program is entitled "In the Stars" and consists of:

Mars (from The Planets) by Holst, Gustav

Venus (from The Planets) by Holst, Gustav

Jupiter (from The Planets) by Holst, Gustav

Nice! The horn warm up is space chords from alternating sides of the field!

Since we have many more members on the field, you'll forgive me if I don't count them.

Hey, there's our announcer!

Tenor and bass are facing off at the 50, joined in by drummers on either side. This is Mars, Bringer of War, after all.

10 tubas on the front sideline, playing that ominous opening melody from Mars. Mmmm...

Great backfield build to the first impact! Low brass is laying it down, especially the tubas, who sound awesome.

Baritones/euphoniums on the secondary melody of the piece, surrounding the snares.

Tubas again sounding incredible.

Drum feature midfield as the horns do drill on either side. Guard on flag and rifle in front of and on either side of the drums.
