Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to Sahlen's Stadium, site of the 2016 Drum Corps Associates Alumni Spectaular! I am your host, Kevin Gamin, Managing News Editor of Drum Corps Planet, and I will be providing you with LIVE From the Stands! coverage of today's performances!

It is a perfectly beautiful sunny Sunday here in Rochester with nary a cloud in the sky and temperatures hovering around 60 degrees for the start of today's show.

Today's performance schedule:

11:30am Preston Scout House

11:48am Skyliners Alumni

12:06pm Les Diplomates

What's NOT on the schedule is the Freelancers Alumni! They are performing now as pre-show entertainment and the 2016 DCA Mini Corps Silver Medalist. The show, Wayne's World, opens with the 1988 and 2009 Blue Devils classic, Happy Days Are Here Again!

A couple screaming soprano soloists joined by a mello soloist midway through the tune. Wayne would approve.

The Freelancers cool it down with Stan Kenton's Pegasus, performed by BD in 1980, 1982, and 2007.

Freelancers have a Great Mini corps this year. Soloists this morning are nailing it!
