jwillis35 Posted April 25, 2020 Share Posted April 25, 2020 They won high brass and high percussion (essentially winning drums and bugles) and found themselves in 4th place in Drum & Bugle Corps. 🙂 High brass and drums has been done before, but I don't think that corps (BD usually) found themselves in 4th place. We have a winner!!!   Yes, they won high brass and high percussion in semifinals. Forget the 4th......if I did my research correctly, they are the first and only corps to win both brass and percussion at a DCI World Championship prelims or finals and not WIN the show.......... Crown won brass and overall music last year and placed 4th overall.....Cadets did the same in 2015 finals.........had they had a better run on finals night, they could have won brass and percussion in finals as well and still finished 4th............................  Several title winners have won both brass and percussion, and there have been some who have swept all captions, including first on every judge's sheet.....
