trumpetfire Posted February 13, 2023 Share Posted February 13, 2023 (edited) Being a marching band and drum corps student in FL meant hearing a lot about recent(ish) Florida drum corps like Teal Sound and the like, but I know there was many corps that have come and gone in Florida, pre- and post-DCI's creation. I was wondering if anyone here is an alumni of any now-inactive Florida corps and/or has any knowledge about them? I've been wanting to engage with the Florida drum corps community and understand its history better, and wondering if there's a Facebook group or archival website I'm missing out on. FL corps don't last .....Florida Vanguard, Devil Dogs, Florida Wave, Silhouettes, Floridians, Suncoast Sound, Magic, Teal Sound etc. Heat Wave Sr gone. Come and Go!
