DCI Corps expense question

Recommended Posts

We talk about fuel, food, housing, salaries for staff, etc.

Out of curiosity, 1) how many different types of insurance does a corps need to carry (ie- liability when on the road; insurance on equipment, accident insurance policies, health insurance for Director or other senior staff, etc), and 2), what % of a corps budget do insurance premiums comprise, if anyone knows?

Trying to give quotes to corps, aren't you, Mr Insurance Agent?

Down in OC, I don't think Director and Operator was DCI required when I got there, but Crossmen helped hook us up with their agent.  We did have liability insurance, we did have accident and equipment insurance, nobody had health insurance (almost all staff are 1099, the director was the only paid staff and he had his own).  All together, I don't remember an exact amount, but it was a fairly small line item in the grand scheme of things.
