2023 Drum Corps Season – DCP/DCW COVERAGE – 2023 DCA World Championships Prelims – Rochester, NY (DCA)

First time I noticed the flags all say “WON’T STOP”.

Trumpets on a prop on the right side of the field playing the melody while the mellophones are on the left side playing an underlying rhythm. Great timing and listening from side to side.

It’s also great how the half jackets the horns and drums are wearing catch the wind as they march at high speeds, almost like capes, but getting around Edna Mode’s edict.

Nice touch by the sabers continuing a ripple toss after the song ends because they CAN’T STOP.

I’m drawing a blank. This is a Sting song, correct?

One of the brass players literally slid across the field into his place in the Wall Of Sound and continues to play while lying on his side.

Horns doing some great body movement ripples in a tight formation while the drums do their thing up front.

More corps need to do Paul Lovett-Cooper. We’ve heard Equallibrium on the field previously, but Cadets nailed it with Immortal and Troopers have made great use of his music as well.

And the flags just go off with their flag feature which would make 2017 SCV proud.
