check out the link above. it's about murray gusseck and his "new technique" (im using quotes because im not really sure how new this is) but yeah, it really makes alot of sense and is fun. any one try it yet? what do you think about it? i think it makes building chops really fun... as weird as that sounds. i found out about this a while ago but thought it sounded kind of weird but i tried it last night and it's really cool making up your own variations and stuff. just thought i would spread the word.

Actually, there's nothing new about it. I've been doing that since 1971. I very rarely practiced exercises except to learn them.

There have been lines in the past that have had exercises with a groove to them but, I will agree that SCV has definetely taken that to a new level. I really enjoyed their warmup program last year and I think what they are doing does make it more enjoyable for the perfomer
