jimmyp58
As you might recall Dan, Diane was a Kenosha girl. I think John had a different girlfriend when he moved back but that was short lived. I forget her name but, ironically, she was Italian too. Diane came to us when Val Webber came to us too. Memory is a tad foggy but I think they were a part of some Kenosha corp that disbanded or from Racine Explorer Scouts. BTW, I am Sicilian!!! Scerpella
Let me see if this works . . .http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f340/pau...llmarch1960.jpg Well, at least it's a link . . . The Cavalier "bar" in the old, old Hall in Chicago - early to mid 60s. Hey Paul, there are three boxes underneath your photo in photobucket, the bottom one being the IMG tag. Simply copy the contents from that bottom box and paste it directly into your post (no other operation is necessary) and your photo will appear in your post. Paul Milano
Who knew there were so many Italians at St Gregs!! Brazale Perrini Bruno Milano Piscitello! Now the question is what sort of Italians? Sicilians, Calabrians, Romans? (Not Blenski!)Hey Jim, it was only after taking some Italian I realized we had always pronounced your name wrong! Should have sounded like Pi####ello rathern than the hard C. Somehow I should have known that since Scerpella is also pronounced like "SH" Many of the "Italians" in the Milwaukee/Chicago area are actually Sicilians, whether they know it (admit it!) or not. I'm Sicilian on my maternal grandmother's side (from San de Stefano outside of Palermo). Italian on my paternal grandfather's side (Gio del Colle near Bari). More links to pics on the way . . . Yeah my great grandfather was actually from so far north it was Switzerland. BTW Jim I would love to see any and all Mariners pictures you have. I would suggest either getting a free shutterfly or yahoo pictures site. You can put them all there and provide one link for people to view them. Ive been digging through my folks picture boxes and there are not very many Mariners pictures Ive come across yet.
