drums4u
Gambal Malets? Did the company go under, or are they still making mallets. I used to love playing with their tenor mallets!!
Jeff Ream
I dunno. I went looking for a pair of their jingle sticks last week and couldn't find any
jmiller
Wow - that is a blast from the past... I know Dave is still in NE PA teaching HS Drum Lines... We used his stuff in HS (Lake-Lehman). Maybe I can find some information out from some of my friends back home.
ACustom19
They went under in 2002 or 2003. Don't really remember the year.

Those straps are THE BEST straps in the world for marching and concert... . We could literally go a drum corps season with 3 pair each but usually only ended up using one pair on rehearsal cyms and kept the other 2 in the bags just in case. I might add Sabian kept sending us cymbals without grommets so we went all of alldays with no grommets. I think on strap went because of that. Besides that they also fit to your hand better than the " big 3' " straps and don't cause so much rub. Might I also add that it was hot, humid and rainy in Atlanta.... Yea. Great straps. PureRockFury
I remember the bass mallets shafts warping...A LOT! We used Gambal bass mallets in 1998, before we got our Vic Firth deal. They had a real nice mallet head, but not the greatest metal shaft.
