johnric
Oh and its not like a bus song. It is the song that ties all eras of the Bridgemen together. It was from the early days, and whenever we gather it is sung! It is our corps song.
70sxmenbass
At the Bayonne Show in 1978, the hometown crowd was electric to welcome back the corps that took it in the teeth the year before. The Bridgemen made their Off The Line formation at the front of the feild, and proceeded to sing their crowd a song. It was an emotional moment for sure. All I can seem to remember is that I think it ended with "Amen, Bridgemen" and then with a small beat to let the audience roar, the did their fanfare that went right into "Ritual Fire Dance".So... Any Bridgemen out there remember the song? They kicked our booties that night. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, Crossmen won the show that night for the 3rd year in a row, so we got to keep the trophy.
