some old corps photos

Roger that, Ron! Some great and classic moments back in the old days!

Rambler - I tried looking for some St. Catherine's Queensmen pics but came up empty - but discovered that this was the corps that Billy Cobham was in way back!

Thanks for looking. I'm sure there must be some pics of them out there somewhere.

Didn't he play with a left handed grip too? That was the rumor when I was coming up.

Saw Billy Cobham Band as the opening act for Taj Mahal back in Saint Paul in the mid-70s. I remember that Glen Ferris, from Don Ellis' Band, was playing t-bone with Cobham.

Strange coupling of musical acts: fusion and Caribbean. Billy's band blew your head off and Mahal's kind of put it back on and patted it into place.

Forgot to note Billy Cobham's grip.......was trying to get one myself.

Gawd, look at that high knee lift . . . flawless!

No need to "quote" the photo I'm referring to; I think we all know who I'm talking about. Thanks, Ron!

The late Mr. Stan Knaub. Photos are from the collection of Kingsmen Alumni Ms. Kelly Gaitens-Miley and are marked on the back "Royal Regiment Rehearsal--Fall '75."
