Anyone know why they were named Wausau Story?

The corps was partially sponsored by the Wausau Insurance Company. They used to run television ads

that told the "Wausau story" of the various people they helped with their insurance coverage, etc. It became a mantra of sorts for the entire city of Wausau.

Didn't they have a cadet corps call the Wausau Pages. I always assumed this was a play on words, as in pages in a story book but not sure.

There is quite a collection of WI corps in the bunch: The major corps of course (Madison, Kilties, Blue Stars, Pioneer) Racine Scouts, Fox Point Patriots, AmbassaDears, St. Matthias Cadets/Preps, Chordaliers, Zephyrs, Sheboyganites, Crusader Gladiators, Rangers, Rebels, New Day, New Dawn, Shoreliners, Royal Knights, Royal Knight Cadets, Spirit of '76, 32nd Hussar, St. Pat's, Greendale Paraders, Milwaukee Boys Club, Eau Claire Boys, Sundowners, Sundowner Kadets, Brass Regiment, Toros, Blackhawk Voyageurs, West Bend Sr., West Bend Patriots, Elkhorn Titans, Commodores, Belles of St. Mary's, , Bellettes of St. Mary's, Park City Greys, Queensmen, Queensmen Squires, Marquis, Our Lady of Mercy, Americanos, Capitolaires, Petites, Militaire Cadets, Royal Guard, St. Gregory Crusaders, Anchormen, CentralAires, Wausau Pages, Wausau Story, Warriors, Marauders, Windjammers, and yes, a couple Mariners.
