I play the baritone good
WHERE did they even offer a chance to vote on your favorite show? Was it announced at the beginning of the broadcast? (I was late.) HOW could people in the theaters even have been able to vote? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> People voted FOR all the shows several months ago on DCI.org. That was kinda the point, to play the top 12 shows that everyone wanted to see. SCV '89 happened to get the most votes.
DAvery
Except it really wasn't the top twelve corps. Of course, with that being said. If it was to be only the top twelve corps, then there probably would have been numerous shows of Cavies, SCV, BD, and Cadets. Although it was nice to the different corps, I would still like to know the overall vote count. I mean I am still wondering how far 83 Cadets missed the cut. Or 74 SCV. Or 81 Bridgmen. Michael Boo
Does anyone have the vote totals from last night? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> 3418 1. 1989 SCV 3224 2. 1975 Madison 2994 3. 2002 Cavaliers 2832 4. 1991 Star 2763 5. 2000 Cadets 2673 6. 1976 BD 1859 7. 1996 Phantom 1197 8. 1974 Kingsmen 1187 9. 1980 27th 1143 10. 2000 Boston 902 11. 1980 Spirit 303 12. 1992 VK Edited April 23, 2005 by Michael Boo
Shawn777
3418 1. 1989 SCV 3224 2. 1975 Madison 2994 3. 2002 Cavaliers 2832 4. 1991 Star 2763 5. 2000 Cadets 2673 6. 1976 BD 1859 7. 1996 Phantom 1197 8. 1974 Kingsmen 1187 9. 1980 27th 2243 10. 2000 Boston  902 11. 1980 Spirit  303 12. 1992 VK <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'd like to see what the vote totals were from the total pool. That is, what the breakdown was from most to least. I wonder how shows like 1983/84/85 Cadets fared, as well as 1989 Phantom. A lot of people at the Fort Worth theater thought that one of the Cadets three-peat shows would have been a better way to show the transition -- since we jumped from 1980 to 1989. Blackstar
remeber it's the number of votes per decade. not per corps. I think its a good idea but one probelm is we'll continuelly see the same corps year after year. I would like to see Gaurdsmen and Freelancers and of Course 84 Crossmen. But with the voting the way it is it's not going to happen anytime soon. And with all the probelms D3 is having how about thowing in some of the smaller corps. the show lasted 3 hours. I wouldn't mind another 30 mintues for D2/3 corps.

I just wanted to know the overall totals.
Malibu
How could Boston score 2243 and be below1859, 1197, and 1187? unless 7th through 10th were Golf Scores? or maybe it's a boo boo, Mr. Boo <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hmm......you've got a point there St. Marys64......I wonder what's up with that??? I loved that show so much I subconsciously added 1100 votes to the total. The actual number for Boston was 1143, not 2243. Mike
