Corps Member Then and Now

Recommended Posts

Over in SCV land you’re considered alumni after one year. I believe currently to receive a green feather you must march your age out year (not true in the old days). To be a member of the alumni corps you must have marched at least one year in the SCV Cadets or SCV.

Oh contrare, you're the hot babe!

Or can we re-enact the Graduate "Are you trying to seduce me Mrs. Robinson?" :P

In memory or Anne Bankcroft......R.I.P.

DANG! Tacky is being too kind. Considering you were there for them, it's the least they could have done for you. Are you telling me, corps now have alumni rings? What a freaking Rip! We didn't have anything like that!

Rocketman - where's my ring?

ampssuck

Don't feel bad-13 years and all I got was an engraved lighter!! :P

(Still got it though!)

My corps didn't have any plaques etc. back in the '60s. As far as I'm concerned, If you're on the field with a corps one season, you're an alumnus/alumna.

On the other hand, if we let everyone in that claimed they marched Spirit 80, we'd have to have our alumni gatherings at Turner Field.

It's amazing who people say they marched with, whether it is true or not. We had yearbooks when I was with the Phantom Regiment, so verifying who marched in years past before wasn't much of a problem.
