I sold tickets at the door until just after intermission and even though I missed seeing some of the performances I could sure hear them ... and selling tix gave me a chance to put faces with a lot of DCP folks. The Winston-Salem crew was super to us and very supportive ... and the Bucs playing "Young Person's Guide" made me cry :( All in all a fantastic weekend. Got back on both feet and onto the field (whew, that was a scary 2 weeks), saw many old friends and made lots of new ones. Special thanks to Liz for the Coke!!! And a special thanks to the random guy from North Carolina (sorry dude, I don't remember your name) who escorted 7 of us (yeah, there's that number again) in his Escort this morning to go find a BBQ breakfast and take us on a Starbucks run. 7 people in an Escort was actually a riot. A big thanks to Johanna (you rock girl) and everyone else who made this weekend possible and a shout out to all those who made it such a great experience. But I did get to see Heat Wave rock the house! And Carolina Gold was flippin' sweet!!! It was also fun hanging with JJ and all the Heat Wave guys for a few moments. I got to meet Terri for the 3rd time (guess I was dead when I met her the first two times) and see Chris act like a crazy person trying to unload all of Bush's equipment. So glad Liz made it even though she's sick - feel better soon honey! Hugs and kisses to my new boyfriend Dave Minero - can't wait to see you at DCA. Jami Mills - you are truly adorable!!! Also nice to meet Katie from CorpsVets guard (another sweet Georgia peach). Last but not least - awesome to see Todd's family again. Shows are always complete when the BIGGEST Renegades fans ever are in attendance - love you guys!!! I just can't believe that convention center is still standing after the mass hornline played Georgia twice!!! What an amazing sound!!!
