I would have joined VK if they still existed and were the same VK from the past. I loved their 1988 and 1992 shows just because they were so entertaining and always make me laugh. Converse shoes were awesome and the Uniforms were weird...but that's why I liked them; they were different.

1996 was their last show...but I don't know why they folded...possibly not getting into finals for 4 consecutive years...but that doesn't sound like a good enough reason.

Like so many other extinct corps, VK had financial problems. Part of the problem allegedly derived from a failure to follow proper accounting practices such as withholding for employee taxes.

I don't mean any disrespect to VK, I loved their 88 show and all but before VK there was the BRIDGEMEN! Now if you asked me if I would march with them...the answer would be YES.

And I may very well anyway! :)
