sburstall
Drum Corps Wikipedia If people don't know by now there is a wikipedia that has been set up for drum corps. There has been a lot of information that has been entered, but with any ongoing project, it's far from being complete. We need your help to add information about any and all corps. Not only to add, but maybe correct any errors that might have crept up. The above link will direct you to Drum Corps Wiki. Have fun with information about the drum corps past, present, and future. cin4057
I didn't see anything in regard to alumni corps. Not much specific history either. Drum corps roots. How it's evolved. VFW and American legion and catholic church sponsorships. Details!

Cin, There's Drum Corps Wiki and if you go into Wikipedia, you can search under classic drum and bugle corps and it has a complete breakdown and history of drum corps. Drum Corps Wiki has a breakdown and list of modern and alumni corps. There is much information about any type of drum corps in both sites. Hope that helps. troon8
This may be a really silly question, but... Why have a Drum Corps Wiki when there's already Wikipedia? People have already devoted a lot of time and energy into entries for both, but wouldn't it make sense to consolidate entries into either one portal or the other? UWGKKpsi
This may be a really silly question, but...Why have a Drum Corps Wiki when there's already Wikipedia? People have already devoted a lot of time and energy into entries for both, but wouldn't it make sense to consolidate entries into either one portal or the other? I have spent time trying to add drum corps information to wikipedia, and it is either deleted for not being "notable" or when you write the history of the corps, it is called copyright violation because the history is located on the corps website. I would encourage more to try and add DC info on wikipedia and see if the situation improves. Let Wikipedia know Drum corps is relevant!
