psidancer
Then the rest of the corps takes off their hats and jackets, revealing they are actually the Bandettes with a guest male performer portraying Carmen. Ending the show with the Commodores classic tune"She's once, twice, three times a lady" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Awesome.... freakin' awesome
Ryan H. Turner
What year was it that VK had that gag? Some guy thinks he's flirting with a woman only to see the wig come off...Was that '92? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nah dude...right corps, wrong year. It was 1986...I was dancing with the "blond" in the red dress during the opener, and then he "outed"...I mean, revealed his true identity to the sound of a VK space chord...it was ODD JOB!! I ran away frightened. Eek. But here I am, 20 years later, wondering what the #### James Bond was running from Odd Job for. Shouldn't I have just turned around and kicked his ###?? byline
Well, according to the BD blog, there was no "Crying Game" moment.
dmfootworks
From the BD website -- A typical Madison POWER finish and the crowd is electric. And now for some "Cool". A big rush for Carmen followed by red streamers. Her character is dead. They are carrying her off the field.
Jason
And perhaps the best moment NEVER to happen in the History of DCI Finals fades into the ether.
Marty
Big Twist? Sounds like (from SCVs site coverage) she shows up again at the end and walks off with the corps. Yawn.
