Sideways
I would pick no more than one show from each corps, just for diversity sake. I would consider all the extremely "listenable" shows. 1. Phantom Regiment '96 2. Velvet Knights '88 3. Suncoast Sound '85 4. Cavaliers '04 5. Star of Indiana '90 6. Blue Devils '88 7. Cadets '01 Edited February 8, 2006 by MagicAlto99

jcn8
I have to go with seven, but wish it could be nine because I'd include '99 SCV and '05 Cadets in the list below.... maybe there'd still be room on the disk to squeeze in SCV's The Canyon and the Cadets' Bjork ballad. 1990 Star 1991 Star 1992 Crossmen 1993 Star 1993 Cadets 1994 Blue Devils 1996 Phantom Regiment
jwillis35
Here is another great idea for 7 corps on a CD: 1. 1965 Chicago Royal Airs (if you can get it) 2. 1970 Troopers 3. 1972 Anaheim Kingsmen 4. 1974 Santa Clara Vanguard 5. 1976 Madison Scouts 6. 1978 Spirit of Atlanta 7. 1980 27th Lancers This is one for the ages. Burn this one and keep it in your car. It will never get far from the CD player. Jonathan

MaxwellNotes
BONUS TRACK-Knights 1983, for those of you who wonder what a show that didn't make the top 12 sounds like. Ha! Or you could use Academie Musical from the late 80s or I like 1990 personally. The best small hornline I have ever heard.

MaxwellNotes
If it was up to me, it would be all 2/3. So what would your choices be here? The post does not specify Div. I
MaxwellNotes
As much as like the recent stuff it amazes me that the ones I come back to are all early nineties or earlier. Patrick I feel the exact same way. You cant beat the 70s and 80s for good drum corps listening!!!!
