Undefeated Seasons

Recommended Posts

Alright, I know Cavies went undefeated in 2002, but surely there have been other corps who have done this... I'm not quite up on my corps history knowledge to know exactly who, however (haha.)

So, who else has pulled of this feat??

SCV beat BD in 86 at the first show... or so corpsreps says.

BD won all the captions in 86 (i believe).. they went undefeated in 82.

DCI era:

1982 Blue Devils

1994 Blue Devils

2000 Cadets

2002 Cavaliers

That is it folks!!!!! :) Not an easy thing to do....that is for sure!!!

Here are some corps that came close:

1988 Blue Devils

1995 Blue Devils

2003 Cavaliers

2005 Cavaliers

I'm sure there are more of these!! :bleah:

undefeated in 87 untill championships

89, one 2nd place the whole season

and 99 had a total of 3 2nd place finishes

i think 72 and 73 were almost perfect seasons too

<===== First undefeated season.....

Definitely a hard thing to do. A number of corps have come close:

74 Madison (they lost only DCI, right?)

75 Madison

80 Blue Devils

83 Cadets

86 BD

87 SCV

88 BD

89 SCV

And others. The toughest thing has to be going undefeated and losing DCI.

It's almost like you want to get that loss out of the way early. You know, during the course of the season, the odds are against you for going undefeated. Once you get up to perlims and finals, you're hoping those odds don't kick in.
